These compact and efficient 3528 SMD LEDs are commonly used as emergency indicator lights in many vehicles, including 2003–2007 GM trucks (Classic body style), as well as various Dodge and Ford models from similar years.
 
While they function well for emergency indicators in those applications, they are not suitable for backlighting in those specific models.
 
However, these LEDs are compatible for both emergency lights and backlighting in 2007–2013 GM vehicles, such as the Silverado, Tahoe, Suburban, Yukon, and more.
